Sand dunes as far as the eye can see, magical oases, salt flats with metallic reflections, and a night under the stars of the Sahara — an experience beyond your wildest dreams that will stay with you forever.

🌊 Chott el-Jérid — The salt lake with infinite reflections

One of Tunisia's most mesmerising landscapes. This dried salt lake, with its white, pink and silver reflections, offers breathtaking views — mirages, endless horizons and surreal light. George Lucas chose it to portray Tatooine's desert landscapes in Star Wars.

🏙️ Tozeur & Nefta — Oasis and film locations

Tozeur and its magnificent oasis of 400,000 date palms. Nefta, with its golden mudbrick architecture, also served as a Star Wars filming location. The maze-like alleyways and the unique light of southern Tunisia immerse you in an atmosphere that's both mystical and cinematic.

🏕️ A night under canvas in the desert

The most magical moment of the trip. Dinner in the desert, followed by a night under canvas at the heart of the Sahara, lulled by absolute silence beneath a starry sky of rare density and beauty. Far from any light pollution, the Milky Way appears in all its splendour.

🌅 Douz — Gateway to the Sahara & Star Wars locations

Douz is nicknamed "the gateway to the Sahara." This is where the dunes truly begin — vast, golden, stretching as far as the eye can see. Camel rides or quad bike excursions available (extra cost, payable on-site).

🌄 Return to Djerba

Breakfast in the desert, then the drive back to Djerba with lunch included. Return expected around 4 PM.
